you see, *puts on geeky glasses and imitates nerdy professor's accent*
sepia is a brown pigment obtained from the inklike secretion of various cuttlefish and used with brush or pen in drawing.
PAUSE!!!!
BTW I GOT THIS PART FROM A DICTIONARY ;D
when used in photo editing, a feeling of entering the past is established, and therefore, we can can that sepia can be used to describe things in the past.
